Ajith Arya, Krishna Malani, Prasad Vishwanath, Sarveshen Naidoo and Bivya Malani at Eastwave Radio Station in Lenasia.

This unique concert, Nada Raga Sagara will be performed live by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji who is renowned worldwide for his music for meditation and healing.

Mr Krishna Malani, who is responsible for bringing Swami to South Africa made an impromptu visit to Lenasia last week.

In his company, was Mr Prasadji Vishwanath, a trustee of Swami’s Ashram, Datta Peetham in Mysore.

The Rising Sun had the opportunity to spend some time with them and learn more about their interests in Swami and his music therapy.

Prasadji’s following of Swami began since he was a young boy. “When I was eight years old I was was diagnosed with a brain tumour and doctors said it was incurable,” he says.

However, he spent that summer holiday in Swamiji’s company and believes that through the music, he was healed.

This is only one such incident as there are many other cases of healings having been reported. As explained in earlier articles, Swamiji’s music is devotional and used as spiritual energy transmission.

He will be accompanied by five musicians who will back him up as he plays ayurvedic-leaing ragas on the electronic synthesizer.

Krishna and Pasadji encourage like minded individuals to benefit from Swamiji’s visit. They had short interviews on Lenz FM and Eastwave Radio and shared more about Swamiji’s healing methodologies.

It is expected to be a sold out event at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on April 20. So book your tickets now through Computicket or visit the Rising Sun at 164 Rose Avenue, Ext 3.
