Octo Ltd. Is a company established in 2002 in

Johannesburg, South Africa with offices and

engineering sites situated in Zambia, India, Dubai and

Lesotho. The company deals with projects in the field

of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)

including the design and construction of substations

in Sub Saharan Africa and Zambia in particular,

specializing in complete solutions to The Medium &

High Voltage Power Industry. Products include Power

& Distribution Transformers, Mobile Substations,

Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Network Protection,

Control & Protection Panels and SCADA up to 330 KV.

Involvement is from the design to the commissioning

stage on a turnkey basis and our ability to deal with

large and complex projects can be evidenced by our

performance in the recent years.

Our strength has been our teams of qualified

engineers and professionals with immense

experience and from diverse backgrounds, but with a

common denominator in one or more areas of

infrastructure and engineering. The company has

about 20 engineers working in the Zambian region

alone who range from civil and structural to electrical

engineers. We are involved in management

partnerships or Joint Ventures, with companies such

as Crompton Greaves and Vijai Electrical (now taken

over by Toshiba) & are Channel Partners with

Schneider Electric on the MV range. After years of

successful business in the African and Asian market,

we have developed key relationships with our trusted

suppliers, energy conglomerates including ABB,

Siemens, Alstom and Schneider Electric & Crompton

Greaves.
